HNTB Site/Civil Engineer II in Arlington, Virginia
What We're Looking For
The time is right to join HNTB! We are seeking an Engineer II to join our Arlington, VA office. The successful individual will be a talented junior-level civil Engineer to work on high-profile federal land/site development and transportation projects of national significance. Focus will be on site development design with a strong working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and Navisworks.
Bachelor’s degree in, civil engineering or related field
Minimum of 3-6 years Site/Civil Design experience
Ability to leverage technology to develop and communicate complex design solutions
Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D corridors, pipe networks, and surfaces
Experience with clash detection and BIM reporting
Primary Focus Will Include:
Delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Collaborating with other offices and consultants across the country
Managing CAD and BIM delivery for projects
Working on all major phases of large land/site development related projects
Participate in the continued growth of our land/site development group
Lead team with innovative CAD and BIM modeling technology to support integrated multidiscipline design solutions
Pursue and win world-class transformative projects that leave long-term positive impacts on our community and nation
What You'll Need
Contributes to the preparation or modification of reports, plans and designs for projects.
Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
2 years relevant experience
