Our Atlanta, GA office is seeking a part-time, Environmental Intern for Summer 2019 !
Relocation is not provided for this position.
Under close supervision, assist departments by performing basic assignments in the areas including, but not limited to Science, Planning, Technology. Position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis.
Assists project team members with various support tasks.
Conducts basic research and data collection.
Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
Assist in the development of presentation materials and reports.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Assists with research, development and documentation of projects.
Assists with analysis of environmental impacts as assigned.
High School/GED or equivalent
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary degree program.
Completion of 2 years of post-secondary degree program
Will consider students majoring in engineering, environmental science, land development planning, natural resources sciences, or urban planning.
Problem solving and analytical skills
Works well in a team setting
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Previous internship experience
General Work Conditions
Office Environment: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use.
