We are seeking talented summer interns as a part of our dynamic team at our Austin, TX office. Those interested in joining our team should be proactive and approach design challenges with a willingness to explore lots of ideas.

Project types are primarily Aviation but potential future opportunity to include: Civic Design, Sports Market, Transportation Design

What You'll Do:
Performs elementary architectural assignments and works from designs of others.
Compiles data, performs basic computations and prepares working drawings on projects of limited scope. Assists in compiling data for architectural plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, business development, etc.
Assists in conducting preliminary studies to obtain information as to space and design requirements, obtaining measurements and making sketches preliminary to the preparation of contract drawings.
Researches, gathers, and records information for use in writing specifications.
Performs basic analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies and limited design layouts.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus 2 years enrollment in post-secondary architectural program
What We Prefer:
revit skills
Previous internship experience
3 years of enrollment in post-secondary architectural program
Proficiency in software:
Conceptual Modeling: exposure to Sketchup and/or Rhino, Grasshopper
Documentation: Revit, AutoCAD a plus
Rendering: exposure to Enscape, Twin Motion, Lumion and/or V-Ray
Graphics: Adobe Suite
Possess good communication skills and display the following attributes:
Positive and proactive
Collaborative in approach to work
Curious
Accountable
Primary Focus Will Include:
Collaborates on current architectural projects
Assists with basic architectural documentation
Makes recommendations to solve design problems
Develops models and designs using applicable software
