This opportunity entails being responsible for the project’s contract and change management, project controls and business functions. Responsibilities include the implementation of the Design-Build Contract Change Management Policy on the project, encompassing contractual changes and dispute resolution processes.
What You'll Do:
Acts as main point of contact with the project team and client to identify, document, track, monitor, manage and negotiate contract change orders.
Provides and updates staffing plans, work plans and schedules associated with project changes in order to maintain an updated baseline Project Plan.
Interfaces with all project management groups to facilitate flow of information about the contract and any changes in scope with the business, project manager and design.
Interacts with design team regularly through task force meetings and other means to ensure understanding of technical needs, deadlines, etc.
Reports on project performance against staffing and work plans to ensure adequate and appropriate resources are being applied. Interfaces with geographic offices to communicate ongoing project staffing needs, and transitions staff on and off the project.
Coordinates reviews and approvals for sub-consultant agreements and the tracking and reporting of sub-consultant contracts, task orders and amendments.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor degree in Engineering
10 years relevant experience
Contract Management or Project Management of large projects experience
What You'll Bring:
Ability to understand the technical aspects of the projects and how impacts to one or more areas of work affect others.
Ability to focus on the job at hand and not let things "slip through the cracks".
Good documentation process and communication skills to establish the foundation for managing change and associated budget.
Good collaborator and leader who can work with multiple groups and personalities.
What We Prefer:
Masters degree in Engineering
15 years relevant experience
Project Management of large projects, preferably design-build experience
PE

The approximate pay range for New York City and Westchester County, NY is $140,777.06 - $229,364.34. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
