HNTB Traffic Design Project Engineer in Columbia, South Carolina
What We're Looking For
The time is right to join HNTB! We are seeking a Traffic Design Project Engineer in the Carolinas.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Task lead of Traffic and/or ITS projects such as Signal Design, Traffic Signal Electrical & Programming Details, Signing Design, Pavement Markings plan development, Signal Timing/Optimization, ITS design, and ITS Operations.
Works with the team to ensure completeness and accuracy of design or project
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams
Meets schedule milestones, budget constraints and quality benchmarks on assigned projects and tasks
Coordination with clients
Ability to travel to client offices or project sites
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Engineering
NCDOT or SCDOT Experience
What You'll Need
Responsible for the delivery of project discipline scope elements within budget and schedule.
Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work. Guides team to overall project objectives.
Serves as technical liaison with client at staff level for work within the discipline.
Assists with project management duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
6 years relevant experience
