What We're Looking For
HNTB is hiring! Our Kansas City, MO office is seeking to hire a Technology Support Representative II to support internal customers. Work hours will be:
Monday - Friday - 10am. - 7:00 pm. CST.
Responsible for providing technical support to the business. Performs hardware, software and network troubleshooting and diagnosis for problems of moderate complexity. Also performs office move technology logistics, equipment lease replacements, cost optimization and daily file server administration. The team mission is to provide prompt, friendly, customer-focused support to minimize TOJ disruptions by following standard, repeatable processes. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Logs all help desk calls or email requests into the current IT Service Management System and updates incident and/or problem information.
Answers incoming support issues via multi-channel contacts.
Performs basic to complex hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Assists with escalated incidents and works with other teams to resolve customer issues
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree
2 years related IT experience
Effective verbal, written communication and problem-solving skills
Exceptional customer service, ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels
Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly and in support of changing priorities
Able to operate in fast-paced organization and handle multiple responsibilities or projects simultaneously
What You'll Need
Triage, prioritize and resolve incoming incidents & service requests tickets and building the knowledge base through submission of knoweldge articles.
Perform hardware imaging and equipment deployment coordination, including with Cost Optimization group, Verian input, lease pickup process, and coordination with end-users.
Performs software installs as part of troubleshooting/problem resolution, as well as the lease/replacement hardware build process.
Performs basic hardware, software, network troubleshooting of moderate scope and complexity.
Answers incoming support phone calls from customers.
Responsible for local office move logistics (physically moving the equipment, setup, etc.).
Allocation breakdown may fluctuate due to business demands.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
1 year related IT experience
