This opportunity entails performing non-routine and complex assignments at an advance proficiency level, involving responsibility for planning and conducting complete projects of varied scope. Assists the project management team in outlining objectives, requirements and design approaches. Responsible for gathering engineering or operational data from a variety of sources.
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for the organization of design/production related files.
Responsible for verifying the accuracy of drawings and compatibility of work across disciplines.
Assists the engineer in outlining objectives, requirements and design approaches.
Attends project and pre-construction meetings and provides input to ensure proper policies, procedures, and specifications are followed. Prepares electronic files for use in meetings and facilitates their display.
Calculates quantities and performs engineering related computations.
Provides training and mentoring to earlier career technicians.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related field and 3 years of relevant experience, or
Associate of Science in Drafting or Technical School or related and 5 years of relevant experience, or
In lieu education, 7 years of relevant experience
What You'll Bring:
Proficient in Revit and knowledgeable in design software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Building design, and Graphic Imaging
Advanced knowledge in the terminology and symbols used in Structural plans, shop drawings, aerial photographs, and maps related to a specific Engineering sub-type
What We Prefer:
Structural/Architectural Revit modeling and documentation knowledge
Ability to work independently and with teams in other offices

The approximate pay range for Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County, CA is $34.95 - $52.42. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
