The time is right to join HNTB Corporation! HNTB is currently seeking a Recruiting Manager for the West Region. This position could be located in a variety of locations including Kansas City, Chicago, Los Angeles and others.
Responsible for leading recruiting team to meet talent needs for assigned region. Partner with senior leaders and HRD to execute staffing plan to achieve 4 for 4 standards around quality work, on time, on budget, and to the business partner's satisfaction. Provide expert consultation and recruiting advice.
Maintains a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, and coaching.
Leads recruiting for assigned region ensuring effective, efficient and compliant recruiting processes, and ensuring a quality candidate experience to build upon HNTB's reputation.
Builds and maintain strong relationships with HRD and senior leaders to plan and execute talent needs. Partner closely on policy/procedural issues, using excellent interpersonal skills, and effectively influence to gain alignment where needed.
Manages and perform full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing top talent - including executive jobs.
Develops and leveragea effective sourcing strategies to attract active and passive candidates. Uses employee referral, recruiting boards, internet, social media, industry and community organizations to build a strong talent pool - including diverse talent.
Provides analytical and process expertise as well as guidance and interpretation of the programs and processes for the division. Leverages available data to monitor activity and evenly distribute workloads across the region.
Ensures recruiting practices conform to all applicable HTNB policies, practices, and governmental regulations. Maintains high level technical knowledge of recruiting best practices, trends and legislative/regulatory activities as they affect recruiting policies or practices.
Models high level of professionalism, customer service and work quality. Communicate quality standards to the team, monitoring to ensure employee performance and process execution consistently meets those standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related area
10 years recruiting experience
In lieu of education, 14 years recruiting experience
2 years of recruitment management experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Detail oriented/ability to manage high requisition work load
Passive recruiting, cold calling, social media experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated customer service skills
PC proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
General Work Conditions
Office Environment: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use.
