The time is right to join HNTB Corporation! HNTB is currently seeking an Asst. Real Estate Acquisition Rep. in our Ocoee, FL. office. The position will also involve some high level Administrative functions. Whereas under limited supervision, this position will leverage specialized skills and experience to provide administrative support typically to the Right of Way team
Performs a variety of tasks in support of the real estate acquisition process, including but not limited to site visits, appraisal preparation, presenting offers and providing support to property owners. Works under a moderate degree of supervision when performing non-standard or more complex activities.
Conducts basic site visits and visual property inspections for potential impacts and meetings with property owners.
Reviews property appraisals and supports property owner negotiations.
Provides customer-facing support to property owners, referring non-standard questions to more senior representative.
Presents offering price for less complex properties, explaining offer details to property owner.
Reviews plats and construction plans for reasonableness based on site visit.
Prepares documents for title approval or eminent domain.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Coordinate with contract managers, Financial Services and vendors to ensure the proper processing, tracking, and storing of contract task work orders, amendments, purchase requisitions/orders, transmittals, invoices and other contract related documents
Coordinate with right of way project managers and right of way agents to ensure the proper processing, tracking, and storing of client's invoice transmittals and warrants
Coordinate with right of way project managers and right of way agents to ensure timely and accurate data entry for appraisal, acquisition, relocation, funds management and property management activities
Coordinate with right of way project managers, right of way agents , management and other staff to develop effective right of way database reports when necessary
Coordinate with right of way project managers and right of way agents to ensure the electronic and hard copy files are handled in accordance with internal procedures
Perform monthly, quarterly or yearly QA/QC reports to monitor the following activities: property management, appraisals, eminent domain, funds management, negotiation, relocation and project/parcels and coordinate with right of way project managers, right of way agents or other staff to remedy any findings
Coordinate with right of way project managers and other staff to ensure the timely and accurate submission of the monthly reports
Assist with logging phone calls, emails, etc. on Right of Way Property Management's inquiry log
Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare meeting agendas and take meeting minutes as necessary
Monitor the public Right of Way email and coordinate responses with appropriate staff
The typical administrative functions may include maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, handling correspondence, distributing mail, and filing of R/W documents
Utilizes Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and various HNTB software applications to perform tasks
Perform other duties to support the Right of Way team as needed
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

General Work Conditions
Office Environment: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use.
