HNTB Principal Engineer in Ontario, California
What We're Looking For
Provides senior-level technical expertise to assigned large and complex projects. Provides independent technical review of selected projects. Provides significant breadth and depth of technical experience in a specific area. Provides technical interface with clients. Provides technical mentorship to staff. Represents the firm as a technical authority on a national basis.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Drainage Discipline Lead for Large-Scale Design Build Projects
Drainage Design Supervision and Plan Production
Client and Regulatory Agency Interaction
Roadway and and Rail Onsite and Offsite Drainage System Design
Hydraulics and Hydrology
Assisting in marketing efforts for large scale transportation projects
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Engineering
High Speed Rail Experience
Inroads Storm and Sanitary
Water Pollution Control
Knowledge of Caltrans Water Quality Requirements
What You'll Need
Provides technical guidance as requested on complex or unusual engineering projects. Provides direction to resolve technical issues.
Represents the firm at technical conferences and on technical committees.
Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
Regularly meets and corresponds with clients or outside personnel on technical issues.
Provides technical assistance, leadership, mentoring, and support to senior-level management and staff. Provides independent technical review, makes recommendations as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
16 years relevant experience
