HNTB Engineer II - Track Design in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
What We're Looking For
The time is right to join HNTB! The Engineer II - Track Design will assist the Track Design department by performing engineering-related tasks including research, development, calculations, design and delivery on assigned project(s).
Primary Focus Will Include:
Responsible for the delivery of project discipline scope elements within budget and schedule.
Quality control within discipline
Planning, design and construction phases of projects
Completeness and accuracy of design team work
Performs other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
2 or more years of experience in track design with an emphasis on railway, commuter, and transit projects
Experience special trackwork design
Experience with Microstation and/or AutoCAD
Knowledge in AREMA and TCRP guidelines for rail and transit.
Excellent communication skills
Collaborates well with others and effective team leader in fast paced environment.
Knowledge of local agency transit and commuter rail corridors and standards
What You'll Need
Contributes to the preparation or modification of reports, plans and designs for projects.
Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
2 years relevant experience
