HNTB Department Manager (Construction Services) in Salt Lake City, Utah
What We're Looking For
Responsible through assigned field staff for overall management direction of major construction projects. Typically manages a staff of 15-30 employees. Accountability includes timely and satisfactory completion of construction projects, assuring satisfactory client service, key field position staffing, project plans, objectives setting, performance evaluation, and related management activities.
Primary Focus Will Include:
May be responsible for overall field management of HNTB's contract, administration and coordination on mid to large size projects of a diverse and complex nature.
Monitors activities of assigned staff for conformance with contractual requirements.
Provides technical leadership for complex or unique assignments.
Reviews drawings, specifications, and installation procedures for constructability.
Responsible for the hiring, supervision, development, evaluation, and termination of staff members.
Reads and interprets complex contract documents.
Monitors Contractor progress and compares with reviewed Progress Schedule.

What You'll Need
Quality control and basic policies and parameters of CEI projects.
Assists in resolution of construction issues.
Maintains existing client relationships and develops new business.
Represents HNTB with client, public, and regulatory agencies.
Trains and develops staff.
Responsible for cost control and financial performance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
